This music is dirty. Not dirty in the sense of needing a "fucking parental advisory" sticker, dirty in the sense of "we went to war for the fucking sake of saving our asses, and came back with each and every head of the men we slaughtered". 3SOP are the papa bear and you just fucked with his kin. The only track I had heard prior to obtaining this full release was 'conflict of self interest', a track that tosses 3SOP into a whole new rank of the "hardcore" regime. Sounding like a face-off between Dennis Lxyzén and Chino Moreno, with a (small, off the 'pain' path) hint of Radiohead's ambient 'Amnesiac' influence, 'conflict . . ' is one of eleven tracks that truly shows off the raw power these guys are capable of. Draging their dead all the way from across the seas of Doncaster, few weak Amerikkans will be prepared for the savage brutality that "With Chaos In Her Wake" is preparing to employ, but 3 Stages of Pain are extremely pissed, and I think it's about time we let them drink their tea and take whatever the fuck they want. All said, find this cd anyway you can (beg, borrow, kill), baptize your virgin speakers and wreck something. The revolution is here, and they will make themselves heard.
