+ How many people have you in kickball? Is it kickball or KICKBALL! or Kickball.. .

There are 3 of us: Adam, Jacob, drummer. It's Kickball, usually.

+ And how did these three members meet.. .. where was Kickball formed?

Jacob and Lisa (drummer) became friends riding in the back of a pickup to a la di da show in Seattle!, at which Lisa tied up and gagged Ross so that she could play drums with Jacob. It was triumphant. Ross was mad but has forgiven us and we're all friends now. Adam and Jacob met over a foosball table, and soon bonded over a common love of beards and Jewish Heritage.

+ The new album ABCDEFGHIJKickball.. . how would you say - if at all - it differs from the previous albums. .? As well, now, will it be self-released.. . ?

We threw the old albums out, down this gully, and they got eaten by a family of bears. We asked the bears to join our band.. . they're actually very nice people. As well, Kickball's first two albums were reminiscent of the songs a slow moving bear might hum while collecting some breakfast berries. On
ABCDEFGHIJKIckball, the slow bear and whispering mice hearts started to beat it up much faster were joined by a dirt stomping dinosaur. All three albums have songs about love, elements, emotions, nature and places.

ABCDEFGHIJKickball will be out on YO YO Recordings, whereas our first two
albums were self-released on our own Houseopolis Records.

+ How would kickball be defined genre-wise in iTunes? Would you require a new category or be happy with, say, "indie".. .?

+ What is your favorite recreational sport of choice?

Jacob plays pingpong everyday on a homemade table at the farm where he works, it has enriched his life immeasurably. Drummer prefers bicycling, and Adam loves playing basketball, they both do these activities almost every day of the year except when they are on tour. When on tour, our band likes to play Cyclops Tag, Boggle, card games and "Carry The Amp".

+ How do you like that myspace place.. . kinda hip, yes?

MySpace has indeed been a useful way to get our music out to people in far awaway places, and to plan our upcoming tour [US! Mid Feb to Mid MArch!]. However,Kickball as a whole is aware of the fact that half the people who are making wonderful music may not be on myspace, or care about it at all. So, if we were to ask "Is MySpace hip?" by the dictionary definition of hip [adj: keenly aware of or knowledgeable about the latest trends or developments], we would say no, it is not hip. If we were to go
to our dictionary's second definition of "hip" [adj: very fashionable or stylish], based on Myspace's choice of bland, oversized advertisements and below-par graphic design, we would come to the same conclusion.

+ Will November of 2008 be a healthy month for the US and surrounding seas? (this is the intro-question for future political quizzing)

It will be healthy - relative to nuclear holocaust.

+ I first discovered Kickball on the Schapendoes sampler "The Last Thing We Ever Did" { where Kickball offered "stop [infinity]" } - are you & the band still in contact with Jevon and that label?

+ You just returned from a tour with mt. gigantic, correct? How did all that jazz go down?

We got hitched. [statement l'officiale via the mt. gigantic othersite: "We got married to the band kickball on august 26th (2005) and we all have new green stained fingers and new wives and husbands.  Our smiling christ double psyche out take it out way way out."

+ And [the] Strangers are linked to Kickball, yes? How so?

The Strangers and Kickball share two members. Adam and drummer. They even went on tour once together.

+ Before I say goodbye - what makes Kickball happy?
